About
In this publication, I do not speak from a place of authority on spiritual, theological, or biblical matters. Rather, as an exploratory endeavor, I aim to cycle perpetually through a process of reading, reflecting, and writing as a means of learning and growing, in hopes of facilitating fruitful conversation with others who are on a similar path. For this reason, I ask that you take everything I say with a grain or two of salt. If by the grace of God I write something that is helpful or edifying to anyone, I rejoice and thank God; but I wish always to remain open to correction, with a willingness to renounce anything I get wrong or formulate clumsily. Most of what I read, reflect on, and write about are the Church Fathers and Scripture; and so if you ever doubt or are unsure about the veracity of something you read, I urge you to consult the Fathers and measure my word against theirs. If you have done this and desire to do me a favor, bring your findings to my attention, and perhaps in this way we will become friends!
May Christ be truly and always the desire of your heart.
With love,
Johnathon
